Lunch at Katsu Burger in Georgetown

If you're looking for a unique burger, go to Katsu Burger, home of the original Japanese deep fried burgers. We checked out the Georgetown location, but they also have three other locations in the Seattle area.

The burgers are huge and messy, so be prepared with extra napkins. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken Burger. The burger was packed and stacked high with good things. There was chicken Katsu with pineapple, onions, pickles, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and a teriyaki sauce. The flavors were right on the money and the chicken was fried and crispy, and cooked just right. My husband had a Katsu burger with beef, the Toyko Classic with Grass Fed Beef. He enjoyed every bite and really liked the flavors and textures of the burger.

For the kids, or non burger lovers, they have Banzai Bites in either chicken or pork. Our boys had the chicken ones and they looked delish, as they were deep fried with a nice Katsu coating. Feel like some fries? They have four kinds-Sea Salt, Curry, Nori, and 12 Spice. We tried the Sea Salt and the Curry Fries, and enjoyed several of the unique dipping sauces as well. But the highlight for me was the Caramel Apple Shake, which was smooth and creamy and tasted exactly like a Caramel Apple.

If you're into giant burgers that are a little different from what you're used to, or you just want something other than the golden arches, try Katsu Burger!
I was ready for a little milkshake action and found the perfect one at Katsu Burger. The flavor was so unique and every sip was even better than the last.
My son was ready to grab the tray and start grubbin'. Our fries, Banzai Bites, and burgers were ready for the taking.
Take a bite of this! My Teriyaki Chicken Burger tasted incredible, if not a bit messy.
I high jacked my hubby's Tokyo Classic and didn't take a bite, I took a picture!
